Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Actually that's not true, because I enjoyed the various incarnations of the "Batman" movies from 1989 to the present, particularly the last one "The Dark Knight". The Spider Man movies with Toby McGuire were also quite good, although there was no reason to remake them with different actors just a few years later. Also the first few X-Men movies were interesting.
