You think pointing out underage images is hypocrisy? You perhaps approve of them?

As for taking issues offline, you failed to do yourself, hypocrite.

Me, I have tried to address the mods offline, the first time Flippy reacted. But the 2. And 3. Time they just ignored it. I have also advised jaytoon, but he never replied.

 

If you have any "beef" with an offending image that I posted (it's my post you are referring to), why didn't you contact me offfline? I of course would have removed it instantly and have done now. If I hadn't by chance looked into jaytoon's thread today, I would not have realized there was one.

However, thanks for finally pointing it out, and apologies to all for having overlooked it in the first place.

 

It's easy to do, without question. Those vintage images that you're posting, that have brought back so many fond memories for a lot of us who remember the skin mags of the '70's and '80's (like Cheri), have been circulating around for years now. My question is how would anyone viewing your posts conclude with any certainty that a particular image that the subject was underage ? I would hope that a great deal of latitude was extended to the good posters like afspotoo or jaytoon, in the absence of chronic violations. These guys are both fantastic contributors.

 

Fair enough. I have tried to be supportive of jaytoon. But he's like a repeat offenders. There is a bigger issue at stake here. Continued posting of underage images could get jaytoon a jail sentence. Phun could be shut down for good. So to be honest I feel I have done what any decent citizen should do.

 

I hardly think pointing out underage images is hypocrisy and I do not condone these images. You blissfully ignored what I was talking about. The hypocrisy is calling one out in one forum but not in another from your moral high horse. It reminds me of a preacher telling his partitioners on Sunday morning that being gay is a sin while crawling into bed with a male prostitute that night. I don't care what you do or what your beliefs are just be consistent if you are going to take such strong public stand on something. I responded to you in the same manner you choose to speak. If that makes me a hypocrite in your mind then so be it.

No beef with you, I was referring to a beef the sullivanorama may have with Jaytoon. I appreciate like hell all of the content you provide for an amateur fan such as myself. Accidents happen and I get it but I do not consider it to be my place to be the Phun police. That's what we have mods for. Sorry for bringing you into this but thank you all the same for removing the images.

Agreed, sometimes it is very hard to tell but other times it isn't. I also don't think either have chronic violations like I have seen from others posters and those posters rightfully banned for posting clearly underage content. Also agreed that they are both great contributors to this forum.

I do want to apologize to Jaytoon for taking up space in your thread, consider this my last butt in. I hate the all the pissing matches that ensue and I have just become a hypocrite in my own eyes for posting again but I did feel a public retort was necessary. Should anyone else have anything to say to me on this subject I am be happy to respond to an offline message.

 

As far as I can see from this and other messages I am not the only one who's concerned with jaytoon's posting, despite the many fine posts he otherwise makes. Butfor some reason you single me out, although we never before have crossed paths.

cant understand why the mods allow it but they do have a lot to do. I do believe we all have a responsibility in this matter. That's my final word on the matter at this point.

Maybe the mods should have a section for threads to watch? I know some places I used to post at had a mod section where threads that were suspicious were put in there. :2cent:

 

Okay everyone, calm down...

First of all, phun isn't going to get shut down because the occasional [possible] underage image slips by the mod staff. They make up such a minuscule % of the images posted in this forum that even the most avid pederast would have great difficulty ferreting them all out. And we've never been contacted by the FBI on this issue, so take a chill pill. Phun does not have the reputation of being a safe haven for providers of child porn, and it never will be. And if there ever comes a time that the Amateur Model Forum becomes too wildly to moderate, we'd simply eliminate it, and that would be that. Problem solved, case closed.

Second; because it's just not possible for the staff to review every post made every day, if you have your doubts about an image(s), report the post by clicking on the little triangle with the ! symbol and make a brief comment about which specific image(s) concerns you. We have a dedicated forum for Reported Posts and review each one of them. Any images the staff feels should be deleted will be, and if a particular poster racks up multiple offences they will be dealt with justly. Your help and vigilance in this regard is invaluable.

Thirdly; I've personally spoken with several of you in private, and you may have noticed that coclarkson is gone because he chose not to heed repeated warnings. And just so everyone is clear, we have no problem banning people for posting what we consider to be underage content. It's mod discretion and there will be no debate. There is no threshold either. Catch us on a bad day and one image is all it takes.

It may help to even include the image, so the mod can quickly tell which one you mean. You can click "reply with quote" before you report it to copy the BBCode for the image and paste that into the report box. Or, if you can't tell which BBCode to copy, you can just right click the image, "copy image location", and paste that in the report.

 

That would be even more helpful.

 

I don't wish to question this process that the two mods have outlined, but it probably would speed things up, if any questionable image was reported to the poster in a PM first. It seems only fair that he/she gets the chance to review any mistake made and act upon it. If they then refuse to remove the image(s), then proceed as outlined above.

Don't do it in the thread itself, as posters don't always check past postings right away, so the message may not then be seen for a few days, and any such thread postings do have a habit of stirring things up unnecessarily.

As I already stated in my previous messages, I have done everything by the book. I have written pms and I have used the triangle to report jaytoon's sick images. Nothing happened. Both you and nick4u do your utmost to make out that I am the problem. Be that as it may, the facts remain: jaytoon consistently posts underage images.
