i am an eagles fan but i don't follow it like crazy like most hardcore football fans do. i do watch the games though. as you know i like hockey a lot and that is really the only thing i keep up with knowledge-wise

 

man, did you watch desjardins retire? i started to break up myself.....I hate change in my sports teams. I wish he could have played 10 more years.

 

And did you know LeClair showed up for the press conference? That is why hockey is my favorite sport. You would never see that kinda support out of ex teamates in other sports, especially basketball.

I have been asking around about that Kyle Clader guy they got for my man Handzus. He sounds like he is the real deal, he may be that second scoring threat they desprately need with Gagne and Forsberg line.

 

i have high hopes too. then again that has happened to us so many times that i wonder if he'll just flop. pat falloon, chris gratton, paul coffey, even vanbiesbrouck dropped a few notches when he got here. there are several others, too, as you know

Have we hit the 100.000th thread yet? I noticed the thread numbering is getting mighty close to 100K. Calls for a celebration, I'd say.

 

I totally agree, we should start planning now.

 

It is worth a celebration. But if we filtered out all the shit threads and spam, we'd be at about 68,000. LOL. But an amazing effort.

Here's my first thread from a year and a half ago. Pics are dead, but it wasn't even at 10,000 threads at the time. And I remember making that post as well, time goes fast.

But with the rate with which new threads are spawned (especially all those crappy threads in the vid section) you're going to have to have your finger on the 'submit' trigger to get the 100K.

I say we just wait for someone to accidentally create it, and hijack that thread. Delete the first post from it and start celebrating! :twisted:
