how did they make it easier to win....reduce the number from 6 down to 5?

 

I think several years ago, Florida Lotto changed the formula for the lesser payout to increase those amounts....meaning the payout for 3, 4, and 5 number matches. This was done in an effort to get more tickets sold.

 

They changed the highest number to 47. It used to be 49 I think. And they changed the payouts on the others winners, like Florida did.

 

Interesting.....Florida went from 49 numbers to 52 numbers. I already had my set of 5 numbers based on the 49, so when ever I see the number above 49 I know it was not me!...

Here, you can get payed all at once, but you get less. Or, you can take yearly payments for about 20 years and get it all.

The Lotto over here has 45 numbers, to winn the jackpot you will need 6 numbers and a right color ball. There are 5 or 6 color balls

Our payout is 30 years, so the jackpot would have to be about 20 million for me to take the payout over time.....20 milliion would be about $400K a year after taxes....or about $5 million cashout after taxes.

Just looked up about Lotto.

Till 50 euro you can get payed at lokal store that sells the tickets. Prices till 5000 euro you need to fill in a form and send winning ticket, form and a copie of a valid ID, you need to send it so that they need to sign for it when they get it. Prices from 5000 euro you need to go to there office and there you get your price money
