The first two....

 

Does tend to happen after I eat.....had breakfast, but nothing else except those two beers as working in this heat makes me lose my appetite for a while.

 

I'm watching CBS for 15 more minutes to see if Amy Acker is the one who "did it."

 

I have the same reactions that you do. But I'm not hungry at all when I wake up. :? ?

 

I am not a big eater upon awakening.....I have a very small breakfast as required with my meds and suppliments.....but I do have a huge mug of coffee.

 

Fruit is a great food for when you wake up....very light and easy on the stomach. Plus, I believe fruit should be eaten only by itself and not mixed with other foods....that is what I do. I tend to look at what people did, as far as eating goes, when their knuckles were dragging the ground.......I don't think eons ago man routinely ate a "balanced" meal....they ate fruit when fruit was available. They ate meat when meat was available, etc. etc. I believe the body has an easier time digesting similar food types at one time. People should eat a balanced diet, but not balanced meals. Some combinations are better than others. Veggies and meat works.....carbs and meats does not.....veggies and carbs work....and fruit only by itself. This is why I only eat meatless spagettii.....sandwiches are my only exception to the rule...on occasion.

 

That's a good way to look at it!

 

I've never been a fruit-eater. I like apples and a few others, but I just never make it a point to get fruit.

 

I did not just dream this up.....have done some reading and research over the years. 20 years ago, my stomach was giving me fits...a large bottle of tums a week.....since adopting the previously described approach to food combinations my stomach problems stopped completely. No lie.

Now, in an effort to lose weight, I am concentrating on a diet mostly consisting of meat and veggies.
