    Yeah, I think that is what it is called....I have a wood frame house with a brick veneer on the first floor and the L-channel steel is above the windows and doors to support the brick veneer. They used an insufficient steel lintel above my 18 foot wide garage door and it has sagged. Fuckers! :mad:

    I would have to google to find out....Big around here was Big Daddy Don Garlits (he has his museum about 35 miles south of here) TV Tommy Ivoe, Sox and Martin, Shirley Muldowney and many more that I just cannot recall just now.

    I recall a driver known as the Mongoose and Prudomme was also known as the Snake....

    The Saturday Night drags, run what you brung, was also fun....they often had national show rods there, like the roach coach and a 4-wheel drive dragster with four huge Olds V-8s...was slow but smoked all four tires for the full quarter mile. :lol:

    Yeah....sweet memories....Now, it is difficult for me to spend all day at the track with the sun and noise level.....today, I would have to take my noise reduction earphones, which I now wear when using yard equipment other than my mower.

    The workers started quitting when hours got cut last month. they're dropping like flies! Nobody has been hired to replace them, because of cheap.
