No added sauce...just fried the patties covered with oiniion powder, garlic powder, all season salt, a light dusting of cayenne pepper with a little wistashire sauce....the removed the patties and dumped in the mixed veggies to cook/steam in the spices and liquid left from frying the patties....not bad at all.

 

I am fighting to stay up for another half hour....:?

 

So the Worcestershire sauce added a nice anti-dryness factor.

 

It took me about 20 tries to figure out how to spell "Worcestershire."

 

Actually, frying with a lid traps a lot of the condensation that is given off from the meat....I actually had more liquid than I needed to boil/steam the veggies.....but the W-sauce did not hurt in that regard.

 

I can never get close enough for the spell checker to find the correct spelling.....so I just say to heck with it....it is a weird word!

 

I remember it by recalling that it is the name of a place - Wor-ces-ter-shire, but it's still fekin weird.

 

I did not sleep with my windows open last night.....with the predicted low of 25F, I thought that may be a bit much for Domenic....will leave them closed again tonight as the predicted low is 33F....I only slept with a sheet over me in my birthday suit.

 

I can remember my childhood and old girlfriends phone numbers, but I can never remember how to spell that word.

 

I remember a couple of those too!

I made a bunch of calls today... Work (HR), my car insurance company, the car dealership, and a bunch more. I'm still without a car for the foreseeable future. This, too, shall pass, right?

we are digging out of a 3.5 day blizzard. couldn't even come to the Airport for 2 days! had 10 to 15 foot snow banks at the Airport!

oh man I'm zonked. worked since 8pm last night with 3.5 hours sleep. ugh.

but we got planes in today!

My car is dead. Blown head gasket. Needs a new engine ($6300). It was running perfectly and there was no indication anything was wrong. It just stopped dead as I was pulling out of the driveway for work wednesday morning.

 

no there is still some blowing snow but we got most of it cleaned up. i'm going to test my Guys and try take tomorrow off. we got the Airport open, now to see how they clean it up tomorrow.

I'm going to tell them if they need another Dozer to call my Brother tomorrow.
