    The first loud track uniform I can remember was either Kansas or Kansas State.....was like a day-glow pink and turquoise. I saw that at the Florida Relays, a national track meet usually in March.

    As far as I know, Oregon track uniforms are still pretty conservative. This is what Prefontaine wore. He may be the first person who ever wore the first proto-type Nikes in a track meet.

    another Phun fact: the most prominent Nike athlete statue at Nike's headquarters is not Michael Jordan (who everyone thinks it is). It's Prefontaine.

    I agree. No reason not to. I'm sure the ratings ESPN is pulling are better than what ABC is pulling, even though ESPN isn't in every household.
