Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    As a musician I worked every NYE for about 20 straight years. I kinda like staying home now. If I were playing regularly I'd be working in a band, though.

    (NYE pay is about 2.5 times extra!)

    Well thank you, but that number is kind of misleading. I thank a lot of posts out of simple recognition, not necessarily because I appreciate the post itself. Like in Forum Issues, we thank posts so people know we've acted on them, not because we appreciate the additional work they create for us. :lol:

    IMHO, you thanked someone that made an effort. That is how I've been thanking for years. If I liked the post, I'll tell them. I really appreciate the effort rather than looking and leaving. The views vs posts really get me in a sour mood.

    I did it for living for many years. Played drums and percussion for everyone around here. Then drum machines and computers came along.

    My dad was a singer in a couple of Top 40 cover bands when was a kid. Never picked up an instrument myself. was always envious of those that can. They got the encouragement that I didn't growing up. I got over it, sports was my thing.
