Hi hc! How was your day?

 

I half sort of a half-day off. I start at 11 p.m. tomorrow and the next night. So I don't have to go in at 4 in the morning tomorrow.

 

I'll be wandering in and out all night here, I guess.

 

Hey PM....

Just got in from having supper with my Uncle, Aunt and cousin passing thru from Houston. Will be dog walking shortly and watching football as well as keeping an eye on the volleyball championship game. Sorry I won't be here tonight, but just wanted to check in of sorts.

 

I was off from the day job Friday .
Worked the Christmas tree shop today .
Only 4 trees sold today . Guess everyone has their trees already

 

Work the day job Monday and Tuesday and then off until next year.
Plenty of work to be done, but I have to use all my vacation days.
I was too poor to do anything fun . My friends helped me afford the week at the beach this year

 

I'm glad you get to use your vacay time, hc!

 

I'm watching a Criminal Minds marathon, once again being a poor example of an American male by not watching football.

 

Offensive plays by the 49ers account for all 5 scores in their game against the Chargers, including the only score by SD, which resulted from a Niners' turnover.

Surviving the times. Working and paying bills. A bit monotonous lately. I suppose im in a bit of a funk. It happens. Especially in the winter and around the holidays.

I went and did my Christmas shopping for the kids tonight. Im pretty satisfied with the results. Got them some of the usual items they would expect and anticipate, but i managed to get a few unexpected items that i think they will appreciate. Oddly enough, it doesn't feel like Christmas this year...or maybe i dont have the Christmas spirit.

I could go on, but ill spare you Hows by you?

You'll get into the spirit when they open their gifts.

Spent several hours today shopping for groceries and whatnot. It's a madhouse out there, no surprise though. Aside from that, same old, same old. No complaints and nothing new to report.

 

Ps. My cat is in heat and id like to snap her neck The incessant meowing is excruciatingly irritating.

No. I'm eagerly anticipating everyone going off to Vegas after xmas and leaving my dad and I here in peace.

 

We have had a stroke of bad luck in the past. Our previous 2 cats died shortly after vet procedures. They were both only 2 or so years old, so we are pretty leery about bringing our current cat. I think im about ready to concede at this point. That noise really is maddening.

Your after xmas itinerary sound very appealing. I could use some r&r myself.
