Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     Worst yet, My family was made up of either farmers or commercial fisherman. That's right, if I wasn't in the field I was in the river. THE WORST was when the eel truck came. We'd catch 'em and put them in pots all week. On Thursday the truck would come. You have to grab the eels and put them in a 55 gal trash can with one inch holes all through the bottom half. What do you think comes out of them barrels, lifted over head with all of the holes, water and eel slimecoat. Supernasty!!!!

    I wore jeans and a couple of old flannel shirts. It was hotter but the clean-up was so much easier. $45 dollars per barn wasn't bad for a frosh/ soph in high school either.

    I had a trainee this morning who, I'm afraid, is only marginal. He might not make it. I have to kick his ass tomorrow morning so he can keep his job.

    I had a lot of exposure to that world. my first job out of school was at a defense contractor that made gas turbine engines. We had many suppliers in Michigan and every summer we would do a physical inventory of our materials at major suppliers.

    When doing inventory, it was also helpful to work on in an area where the stuff was closer to eye level than the floor. :tup:

    Did Hatteras Yachts for eight months and could have gone postal if it weren't for a supe that I still stay in touch with.

    yep been to Bay City, Saginaw, Kalamazoo and points in between. :)

    I loved seeing how big castings are made (molten metal pored into molds) but also felt like I was getting lung cancer being there for the day. :shock:

    I'm familiar with Warren. We never had to go there, but we made the gas turbine engine for the main battle tank at the time. Pretty sure it was designated the M1A1
