Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     I play golf a lot between the ages of 8 to 14....towards the end of that time, I normally shot in the low 80's on a par 72 course.....that was at the Gainesville Golf and Country Club. That facility was sold to the University of Florida and GGCC built new facilities southwest of town.

    yes and other big time advertisers have chimed in to a lesser extent. On the radio they were laughing that A-B would be replaced in a heartbeat by another beer company if they ever left. :D Its all PR me thinks.

    It could be many things. Closest to the hole, best lie, not in a trap or bunker, the only one left on the fairway. It's team effort on what would normally be and individual sport.

    That is a separate issue. Best ball is used more for the more friendly tournaments....ones that are more to the social or fund raising interests. Best ball is when players are grouped or paired together and they can chose which of the tee shots on each hole will be used by the team or pair to complete each hole.

    yeah best ball is cool. if someone can hit their T-shot a mile straight down the fairway, everyone plays their second shot from there. Keeps it interesting if you choose your group wisely! (the organizer may set up foursomes so each group has a mix of good and bad golfers)

    I used to like playing at off-times, when the course wasn't full. I could take my time and enjoy my surroundings when I played. I even liked pulling my own clubs - no riding cart.
