    It is kinda like Russian Roulette.....the small t-storms just pop up......kinda 50/50 that one will run over you. I may have to rent a bobcat and adjust the contours of my back yard a bit....mostly knock out the ridges between my puddles so the will drain and not be dependent on percolation.

    When we get a lot of rain, my backyard seems to puddle up. I know a bit of grading would solve that problem but, I just have gotten the grass to really establish. What do I do? Kill the yearlong establishment of grass to improve drainage or just deal with it? IDK at this point...

    I'm not down with phun as I used to be. But I have this killer idea for a thread. Who should be woman of the year, if not Kim Kardashian? Do I post it in the lounge (quickly buried by forum games?) or in Celebrity Extra (a free for all, but with less traffic, right?)

    There seems to be a respectable number of members that frequent the lounge and comment and keep a discussion thread bumped up if there is sufficient interest. You can try it here and see if it works out to your satisfaction....if it doesn't, then see about moving it to another location. Just a thought.

    I just got a light shower.....probably only about a tenth of rain, but major rain cells in the area and hoping them manage to miss me. I was saying earlier that since Friday, I got a little over six inches of rain. And for June, July, and August I got a little over 24 inches or rain. Two inches so far in September. Still have puddles in my back yard that I will have to treat for mosquito larvae within two days if I keep getting rain.
