    sup merlin and Thore?

    Lisa and I will be going to the City to have the Baby. only 1700 people here, no full time Baby Doctor, some Midwives.

    so we have a choice to go to the City. there is a Regional Boarding home but ugh. no like that idea of staying with sick people with Lisa being pregnant.

    so I'm pricing out some hotels for a month. $4500, $4350 and then found one for $3200! it's nice decent hotels. nothing 50 star but good ones.

    still friggin pricy though! :lol:

    but I'm looking at it this way. we have to fly down at least 3 weeks before her due date. just in case. then could be there for a couple days, could be there for 4 weeks!

    so I'm going to start saving up now. then hey. I get a month off work! :lol:

    but trust me. we are so excited for the Baby!

    I generally stay on low end motels when I travel on my bike....price range is about $45 to $60 a night.....the places are decent as all I want is a decent bed and a clean bathroom. :lol:

    Both my sons were Midwife births and not in hospitals at all....my wife never saw an OB doc.

    but it'll be fun to be in the City for a month.

    I am checking on rental cars for a month. that's like $1500 too!

    I'm just looking it as a fun vacation before I get no sleep once the real Little Inuk arrives! :lol:

    I heard somewhere that rearing a child to the age of 18 costs somewhere in the range of 180K? You'll have 10% of that in just the first week! :lol:

    I spent more on mine after they were 18 than I did before they were 18.....and I think I spent more than $180 on them before they were 18...like both did braces twice...:?
