Most sports are over for me until football season. I think both SEC baseball teams that made the college world series are still alive, but I have not been watching any of those games. Of course, I still have Indy and NASCAR racing on the weekends.

The good news is now that my youngest is out of med school and working as a resident, he will reimburse me $1,100 for the cost of the insurance for my car that he has. Thank goodness for small favors, right?

 

Except for my puppies and my hog, you are correct.

He is a good kid.....he is stepping up to the plate so to speak on the transition of his costs I have been paying for shifting to him. Next, we will have to talk about his departure from my family plan for his cell phone....that is costing me $80 to $100 a month for him. He has looked into the cost for him to have my care transferred to him and he pick up the insurance....that would cost him about $2K a hear, so we decided that I would keep the car in my name and he would reimburse me that insurance cost....that saves him $900 a year, just enough to pick up his own cell phone.

I still think about you and Blaze, PM......I cannot believe it has been over 30 years since I lost my Thore and I still grieve......I mean, I am still shedding tears.....

Confession: I have shed more tears for the passing of my beloved Thore than I have more both my parents combined.....and I don't think a days has gone by since that I have not thought about him......some insight as to why animal abuse just infuriates me.

Amalie and Domenic are wonderful dogs in their own right, not to be compared to Thore. I had Thore during a lonely part of my life and I am sure that had a great deal to do with my strong attachment and affection to him....he also loved to play with me....loved the water as did I, was not outwardly affectionate as am I, ....... I am so thankful to have both my dogs now, though I have to make myself not think about the fact that they too will be gone far too soon.

 

I love watching all the neat dog vids on the internet, especially the ones of a returning military person to their dogs....and the one where the military person was able to bring their dogs they "adopted" while deployed home.....

 

It's hard to think ahead. :?
