Yeah, one would think, but such is the sandy soils of Florida. Most lakes are sand bottom and local ground water sensitive, so maybe the increase in residential and industry wells have had an impact. Plus, in heavy rains, so much of the rain is lost through creek and river flows....

 

I need to shower tonight also....not sure when I will do that though....:?

 

I think Amalie is feeling a bit pewny due to the four shots she got today.....so I made both dogs a little extra special supper tonight by adding some pieces of cooked sausage I had in the frig. They both gobbled it down. They know something special is up when I go to the frig, take something out, and put something into their supper. Damn dogs are smart! Of course, they could also just plain smell it too.

 

I'll buy that.

 

I had to laugh at Thoretta today. She went early to Lowes to get some plants and then came home and worked in the yard planting them for two hours.....it just about did her in.......She said she was sweating and she never sweats. I was wearing gym shorts, t-shirt and 4 sweat head bands and all were dripping with sweat when I finished...I even squeezed out my sweat bands and at least a half cup of water fell out. :shock:

 

Half a cup?!?!

 

I hope your back and leg get better soon there PM....I have been biting my tongue to not say anything related to your need to find employment that is not so physical....this is why I have not commented on most of your body issues related posts. I hope you understand.

 

Yep, at least. I was standing at the top of my driveway and the bead of water ran down hill some 12 feet before hitting the half inch wide expansion joint...:shock:

Jeopardy contestants aren't getting anything tonight.

 

The Tigers got their game in today before the rain. They lost again and relinquished 1st place. Grrrr.

 

I got another rash of medical co-payment bills today....:shock:....I will be six months paying them off....so far without insurance my cost would have exceeded $80K, but my health insurance has a annual maximum cost to me of $5K. My insurance bill came in today for house, vehicles, and general liability....$7K, but I have been putting $ aside for that. House taxes are due in November and that is $6 for which I will have to begin setting $ aside. My life style is almost as pathetic as when I was in college barely making minimum wages.

 

I can F'ing relate to that!
