dammit.... was thinking of making a cake with rhubarb that I got from a friend






I forgot to cut the rhubarb and bring it home.

 

now the question is, should I make the cake without rhubarb, or make it with my own rhubarb that would need a little more time to grow before picking, or drive back there for the rhubarb.... or not make one at all

 

I wouldn't use your own rhubarb, may not be tasty enough.

leaning towards going to not making one.. it's actually a bit late to start making a cake now, and the longer I think about it the later it'll get

yup, and the time it takes to get it, peel it and then another 70-80 minutes to make the cake. then let it cool, slice it and put whipped cream and stuff between... it's gonna take all night
