    Last year was our TV upgrade year...I got a Samsung 40" HD for $400 and my youngest son upgraded his 40" Samsung with a 60" samsung, giving his mother his old 40". Down the road a bit I would like to get a 60" or larger for our family room, but that will probably be a few years down the road....unless my son gets a bigger one. :lol:

    My first color TV was bought in a second hand store.....was a console type with built-in Hi-Fi and speakers....about 30" deep and 60" wide...about a 25" screen. Magnavox I think....
