We have another great day out there. Nice.

 

Good night Cold..

 

Pretty much a "do nothing" day here.

Nice day here. 85°F/29°C RH in the mid 30%.

 

That low humidity sounds good!

We're in the mid-60s with low humidity now. And sunny.

 

We are picking up a few scattered white puffy clouds now....tonight's temps will drop into the high 50's. No rain chance until the end of the week.

 

I'm lazing with the dogs as long as possible today.

 

Mine are lazing downstairs without me.

 

Just finished filling a few rather deep holes they dug yesterday.....digging down to the damp dirt which they spread out to lay in. :?

 

How deep is that? Wow.

 

And the both do it? Sounds like they're learning from one-another.

 

18 to 24 inches....

 

Amelie pulls the Tom Sawyer routine on Domenic....she starts it and after a short while he come over and she lets him finish it. She saw me thru the window the other day and wagged her tail once......I fuss at them when I catch them digging and I know she does this to get the desired cool dirt to lay in while minimizing the time she might get caught. She is extremely smart.......devious......and stubborn!

yeah, they could be real leg breakers! :shock: Which is why I try to keep them filled.

A friend of mine some years ago had a similar problem with his dogs, which led him to resod his yard. Before rolling out the sod he laid down a layer of chicken wire. After half a dozen failed attempts by his dogs to dig holes they gave up on it.
