    It's not much, but saw this while prospecting on the new pics of Mila Kunis.

    I don't get it - more resolution only helps with the details, unless they aren't there in the first place. Are you mistaking .jpg compression & artifacting for detail? If you have a higher quality scan and it doesn't show what you think you see in a lower res one, then that should tell you something.

    Between the pleats in the fabric and what she's got underneath there nothing there for me to get.

    All I meant was that it's difficult (for me) to apply dodge/burn to such a high quality picture. Sometimes a lower resolution picture can look better, because it also hides the "artifacts" introduced by dodge/burn. It depends on the picture of course, but in this case I couldn't get it right.
