I've seen chat boxes on other forums......they are chaotic and easily "controlled" by the most popular members.

 

I've seen those too, don't think I've ever read a message posted in them though. I don't have any trouble hitting refresh every few minutes.

 

I usually don't either.

Random old post of the day!

 

I consumed less than 2000 calories yesterday.
I can feel my fat cells panicking.

 

Not much really.....I thought if we started a group it might result in daily random posts.

The only 'active thread' is this one and if even you guys rather post at fb then ...

Already people like Linusc, scribe, bama and a few other friends prefer posting pictures
at the FB PHUn place rather than in PHUN itself

 

I can promise you will never see me on facebook. Not sure how much of a consolation that is.

 

i would be more active here, but i dont have time
same goes with the face book. i try to get there and enjoy a conversation or two
but for the most part, i simply have no interest in any of it.
dono why. just seems to have left my "must doo" radar.

Rebelling against the social norm?

 

I've felt like that too from time to time.

 

I'm not trying to lure anybody anywhere.............unless you haven't noticed nobody really comes here anyway........I'm just trying to rekindle what we had.

It will rekindle on its own. When I first joined the chat thread was always active, every night there were probably around 10 people all chatting, then it slowed down for a while. Member came and went then around the creation of the Igloo it started up again, new members took the place of the old one's and it was real active for a while then cooled down. Most recently it was in here that there was always a conversation going on, now its slowed down for a few months. Give it some time and I'm sure new members will filter in and the activity will pick up once again.

 

Jack only posts when yay is around. Or grims. He doesn't show much interest in chatting with others, otherwise. The same can be said for facebook. Our phun group there is predominantly image posts (though there is a lot of chat too) and even though Jack has two lengthy threads in the Amateur Forum here, he never contributes at facebook. I find that odd.
