    more or less.
    seems my mentor found an epiphone in his cellar.
    he says its easy to fret and has an acceptable sound, but the sound doesnt carry very well.
    so if im playing any outdoor festivals i guess ill need to barrow one of his martins

    im pretty excited about the prospect of this endevour. but he strictly plays bluegrass. and im guessing he intends to teach me the ins and outs of that... i hope he doesnt get upset when i pop around his house and strum a few chords of how blue can i get.

    Maybe by the time you start playing festivals you'll have a few other guitars to choose form:D

    Bluegrass would be fun to learn, but as long as he teaches you the basics, you can learn anything else yourself, everything is online, usually with a well thought out and informative lesson.
