No....there are no proper maps of the city because it's not properly organised.....there are tons of unregistered by lanes and the turn signals keep on changing.

 

You'd be amazed how notoriously inaccurate GPS systems are in America. What you described above is waaaaaaayyy beyond their capability!

It's more likely that he's just driving/pushing home....cabbies don't go to regular gas stations as they are too expensive for them.... they go home to their slum and have some guy fix it for them.

No, I'm saying cars break down and people push them, and not always out of the way. Happens more than you think.

 

i have a car. but it works. but just for fun sometimes, i get out at busy intersections. throw open the trunk and rearrange stuff. take out the spare, the bowling balls. the golf clubs, the guns the three amao cases the rubber boots. the live animal trap and the red tote full of emergence items. like a jack, a tool for working on the car two more guns and 24 flares duct taped into what looks like a rocket.

did i mention im only wearing my underware and sunglasses.
