Friend : I was at a wedding a while ago and afterwards I was looking through the pictures....I'm edited out of every one.....one I was standing with my dad and some uncles, I know I was in that....and they edited me out....the fuckers....you can only see my hand sticking out there weirdly......then in another one my face was blurred out and focus was on some lady in the back....I don't even know who the fuck is she and I asked a few people....and even they didn't know....yet she's given ore importance than me......seriously what's the point in going to these thing....it's obvious they don't want you.

 

So what did you say to him?

Not really......same thing probably happens to me.....I just don't care.

 

Would irk me. If you don't want me in a pic, say so. Or don't invite me in the first place. Weddings suck anyway.

 

In India weddings aren't what they are in the US....it's a family affair....everybody in the family is invited.....everybody in the business circle is invited.....everybody who is a potential business client is invited.....then if there is room.....the bride and groom can invite a few friends.

 

I'm aware of that. That's how the blue bloods here do it too. It's more of a business arrangement between two families than anything else, which is historically what weddings started out as. All that romantic love non-sense actually stems from a late 18th century marketing ploy to sell wedding gowns and other wedding related folderol. That's some good marketing because it stuck.
