Bazza had shingles...
Those of us who spend much time in a doctor's office should appreciate this! Doesn't it seem more and more that doctors are running their practices like an assembly line?
Here's what happened to Bazza:

Bazza walked into a doctor's office and the receptionist asked him what he had. Bazza said: 'Shingles.' So she wrote down his name, address, medicare number and told him to have a seat.

Fifteen minutes later a nurse's aide came out and asked Bazza what he had.
Bazza said, 'Shingles' So she wrote down his height, weight, a complete medical history and told Bazza to wait in the examining room..

A half hour later a nurse came in and asked Bazza what he had. Bazza said, 'Shingles..' So the nurse gave Bazza a blood test, a blood pressure test, an electrocardiogram, and told Bazza to take off all his clothes and wait for the doctor.

An hour later the doctor came in and found Bazza sitting patiently in the nude and asked Bazza what he had.

Bazza said, 'Shingles.' The doctor asked, 'Where?'
Bazza said, 'Outside on the truck. Where do you want me to unload 'em??'

nope the company finally offered me a job, not the right numbers on the pay however, close but just not there. not sure what to do now. i guess ill have to counter and remind them that i have to have "this" amount to work exclusively for them. anything less and i have to retain some ownership in my office in phoenix.

 

Do you sense they'll go for it?

 

its hard to read, i dont have any idea. not very good at these things. i know they like what i do. i know i bring them someone that can fill a lot of voids they are worried about. but i also know they often will shoot themselves in the foot

someone told me about them, if you have money to spend they will be there, they have a sence for it. so they have cash thats for sure.

I don't know. I've never met the people you're dealing with so I really can't say. It's not uncommon to get lowballed in salary negotiations though. Stand firm. They offered t
you the job so it's clear they want you. Keep that in mind going forward.

 

that is very clear. well i suppose i need to counter the offer. i could tell them the offer is just above what i originally asked for. they will say, well thats more than you stated on your first request. ill explain, thats right, and it goes up each time i have to resubmit, so buy now buy cheap
