I looked up Xanax to see if we have it here under another brandname.
Interesting: the German Wikipedia site clearly states that Xanax as a member of the benzodiazepine family can lead to a physical and psychical addiction even after a short time of taking them.
The English site claims: It is unlikely to produce dependency or abuse.

Xanax isn't addictive.......and Xanax isn't what I took anyway, I took Kolonopin....it's an anti-anxiety med......I only said Xanax because I didn't think anybody would know the other name.


Xanax is really just the American name for it....when looking in other countries you have to run a chemical search, but there usually is a drug exactly similar to it (and all others).

The reason it might be listed as addictive there could be because of drug laws....a certain chemical which is not considered addictive in other countries....etc.

 

I don't even remember why I watched it, I think someone recommended it to me. I actually enjoyed it. It was weirdly fascinating. Sometimes I love a good conspiracy. Just the feeling that there might be more to some facts than we are led to believe.

I would love to believe in aliens, fairies and vampires and all that, too. Makes life more interesting! Sadly, I might be too cynical for that by now.

 

It's called Alprazolam in both cases.

 

In Germany it's not as easy to get the addictive pain killers or other meds.

It's not weird per se, it's just weird to know when. Like, I'm telling my clients which drill to use on the 5mm wood... and suddenly I think: Scribe is sticking his penis into someone's vagina right now.
