PSN is a server of sony for the PS3, the hackers took it down. I used to be able to stream without PSN, but the bastards made it so you had to log in to access netflix.

I kind of stumble on this site, I thought was another scam site that ask you to register and after you do they say, now we need your credit card. But no it was even more then I was looking for. I was looking for an obscure movie, can't remember what it was, and I stumble on this site,

What makes you think you can't learn anything from reading a fictional novel? Any author worth their salt judiciously
uses as many facts as possible to give their story authenticity.

Yep, I've being following the whole thing too. first started by this guy getting close to hack the PS3, sony takes linux from PS3, hackers hack PS3 anyways, the hacker released his work online place his name and face to go along, sony sue the hacker, other hackers got mad and hack sony PSN network, PSN is down for 2 days, sony fanboys laugh at hackers because all they could do was shut down PSN for two days, hackers hacks PSN again, this time stills every information of PSN users. Good thing I don't have a credit card and never bought anything through PSN.

Thats the short version.

I know you can, but when is fictional I just rather watch as in a movie. For instance I don't like watching documentaries much, I rather read the books, although I love modern marvels from the History channel.

No more dangerous than listening to music. Lots of great books on tape. Check out yay's "What Book are You Reading?" thread for some ideas. Kurt Vonnegut on tape would be a place to start.

 

Nope, sony says it will take another week from now, they also have to implement something so when they are back online all users must change their password, since the hackers stole that too.

Every other console have being hacked forever now, sony is the only fighting, before they even had the audacity to say the PS3 was unhackable. They were doing well by continually updating their software and clogging the hackers opening, but then they decide to go beyond that and sue this guy, it just open a can or worms.
