Something my cousin posted on fb: Remember when teachers, public employees, Planned Parenthood, NPR and PBS crashed the stock market, wiped out half of our 401Ks, took trillions in TARP money, spilled oil in the Gulf of Mexico, gave themselves billions in bonuses, and paid no taxes? Yeah, me either.

 

some of them almost got the ax in the new bill past, thankfully npr and planned parenthood didnt. my argument was the EPA getting hacked by 16% arnt we still cleaning up the fucking messes that were created in the 60s and 70s form before we had that agency.

god the cows are dumb anymore.

 

Politicians always threaten to axe PBS/NPR, but both are supported by rich people and corporations who lobby heavily on Capitol Hill for other things. You don't make friends by killing their pet causes.

k so i just read on another forum that olivia munns new show, "perfect Couples" was canned due to bad rating, could be cause it sort of sucked and wasnt that funny. but im a bit jaded cause ive seen every episode of coupling (GB version with an incredibly hot Sarah Alexander) and laughed my ass completely off.
