Coffee cups are rather innocuous....that is their very beauty... you see the utterly dimwitted completely ignore the presence of a coffee cup in every situation...even one in which the coffee cup plays an important part....making it extremely easy and convenient for people such as ourselves to make furtive use of said coffee cup.

how i miss being single some days

exactly my point, i spent three days on a boat that had a "no alcohol beyond the bar" rule drinking beer in every deck and never once had an issue, we spent enough time in the bar to cover the beer smell, but it was nice to venture from our safe zone to watch the old people race

 

Any food or beverage is verboten in the library, so I'm afraid your ruse of a coffee cup, though a good one, would not pass muster.

In fact, they seem a bit lax about beverage consumption in the computer room. It's not uncommon to see people sipping water from a bottle without being hassled for it. I consumed a great deal of vodka that very way in here one time.

I know the feeling. I have been so uninsprired for too long of a period. It's making me dull and irritable and it's all I can do to keep myself from looking upon the world at large and glowering at it. Sucks.
