Congrats on turning the big 4-0 unfortunately its a workshop with a concrete floor and this is the way my boss wants it...No wonder nobody else wanted to be Workplce Health and Safety officer oh well at least its a good excuse for some overtime. When he was over at SEMA last year he picked up a 67 Chevelle with the plan of shippng it over here and selling it to make a quick buck. Now it being given a full back to metal restoration l

Hey no worries Just make sure you use all the right protective equipment...being a WHSO has really opened my eyes to how potentially dangerous paint products can be although my boss keeps on going on about how it hasn't affected him in the 40 years he's being doing it. Although he has this cough that won't go away and the doctors can't expain it. You just need to get into the deck soon before it gets too cold though..don't you have the deck applicators over there that are supposed to take half the time?

lol - the water temp in the pool is down to 50F/10C, don't think you'd want to go getting in.

I'll do the trim with a brush and spray the rest with a bug sprayer. It's not that big so it shouldn't really take that long. It's still getting to the low 70's F here so I've got a little time yet. Not much though. And yeah, prolonged exposure to paint is not a good idea.

Yeah bama you look at the MSDS and you wonder why the hell we use these products but apparently they are safer now than 20 years ago. I had all sorts of grief trying to get them to give all our painters Isocyanate tests ...they wanted to wait until it was closer to the inspection and I couldn't get through to them that it is continuous health monitoring
