Sig of the week - Week 1 Voting

Is that what is happening now?

 

i actually hate weekend votings because the forum is at it's slowest during the weekends. may i suggest the busiest days like tuesday-thursday? or monday -wed.

 

no, i am just saying it as a preventative measure. There are remedies for this if it becomes a problem. We can make voting public and the mods here can check every account that voted to make sure it wasn't tied to another existing one.

 

how would we change that? should we wait a few days before starting a new week so we could get a weekday vote?

 

we could just shift it a little...

voting on monday and tuesday, winner and new theme announced on wednesday, enter new one till sunday.

 

with this one we can just leave it alone.

if you think it will work go ahead and stack it that way.

My reason for suggesting the voting on a weekday instead of throughout the weekend is because most people are gone during the weekends. Most people believe it or not surf phun while at work. Like bama and such. If you have voting done throughout the weekend you will miss out on alot of the regular members.

sounds good. but if it is public voting from next week onwards i think there should be a sig of the week discussion thread for all general queries and rule refinements to keep all votes easier to count and for when/if each one goes into the hof it will be easier to read peoples votes and reasons.

 

if its in here i missed it, will the names of the sig creators be revealed at the end of the contest, becouse im curious if my guesses on who made what are right

I also love that sig makers are using a full range of sizes.

 

voted... picked number 5 as it looked pretty cool/retro-ish with the beater car in front of a Kat Von D mural on a wall.... very interesting idea.

If the person who made it could pm me, I'd like to know where they got that pic from. It's very cool, I'd like to print it out and frame it.

Agreed. I PM'd him to ask him to change it but he hasn't. Which totally takes away from the point. Its about the sig and not who made it. He can gloat all he wants if he wins.

people they can say what they voted for if they wish. This isn't a completely anonymous vote. People should have the freedom to say who they voted for, it is not like it will alter the results. Just calm down.
