    I don't know if anyone here has tried it yet, but this screenshot was taken from Haiku Release 1 Alpha 1. Haiku is a BeOS clone and it works pretty well on my computer. Sadly, wireless networking does not yet work, so it's usefulness to me is limited, but I hope to switch to it as my primary OS one day.

    And of course, I have a Miriama Kunkelova (Mima) wallpaper.

    err.. but the taskbar seems to have the exact same features like the one in xp/vista..
    except for the show desktop button.. what does it do? ^^ show the desktop?

    On my computer, Windows 7 runs as fast as Vista does. There are a lot of improvements, but speed isn't one that I have noticed.
