    I don't think it's editing or brushing (well some).

    I think she did an olivia munn, got surgery and ruined perfection.

    Those are definitely bolt-ons so why not the face too? She looks very different.

    Yeah. Because she's twenty years older. Has different color hair and eyebrows. Plus her eye shadow, lip stick, and make up are done differently. That's why she looks different than the promo shot of her as a teenage spaceship mechanic on a low budget, sci fi tv show.

    Jewel was 23 when she first appeared in Stargate Atlantis and that was only 15 years ago. Faces do naturally change over time but that is usually due to gaining wait, exposure to elements, and Illness or injury. But Jewel face seems to have been transformed more quickly that normal. Just look at how Jennifer Anniston has aged. Her face is still pretty much what she looked like at age 25 and she is now 51, which is a gap of 26 years! Now look at Jennifer Grey who was 27 when she appeared in Dirty Dancing but looks radically different at age 60 due to cosmetic surgery. So either something happened with Jewel or the photoshopping went a little too far.

    One example of a huge age-related face change is with porn star Alexis Crystal. She had a very cute face in her Drive By Girls video but is more elongated in recent films. However, she was about 18 years old when she first appeared in porn and is now 27 years old. I would bet, given she remains trim, that Alexis’s face wont change much in the next 15 years.
