Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     I prefer to stick to land. Full throttle on a Polaris Sportsman 550 (had it up to 60, assuming the speedometer was properly calibrated) is plenty of fun for me. I'm more a slow "Let's see how much s**t we can climb!" type of guy versus an "open the throttle up the whole way". To each their own, though!

    Not the Norton....that belonged to a friend. I had a Honda 350 that I rebuilt for flat track racing....increased jugs to 400 cc Marquenie (spelling) heads and carbs, etc. weighed about 300 pounds.

    I gotta agree there. I'd rather crawl through three feet of mud, goosing the throttle at the right time, than stretch it out on asphalt.

    Ouch! I don't know about where you live, but I think in NY state you lose your license after 3 :-\

    Yeah on Memorial Day I went mudding with my then-girlfriend and 2 other friends. It was a hell of a lot of fun. Came down a hill right into a mud pit...I got stuck, and in the process of getting out, managed to completely cover her in mud. Unfortunately she didn't have a visor or goggles...her glasses were completely brown :p I had to open my visor after so I could see...but it certainly did it's job :-D

    Uh...actually, it was exactly a week later... :-\ Obvious not related to that...A rather shitty reason, in my opinion: "I don't have feelings for you...but you're still my best friend."

    And Merlin, if you were asking what I was riding, it was my friend's Polaris Sportsman 550. That does not classify as a "bike"...a bike has 2 wheels :p
