    good night Thore.

I had some bread that had a bit of mold. so instead of throwing it in the garbage I put 5 slices outside for birds to eat, within a minute 2 birds were eating them! :)

no little snow buntings there pm.

I have a .17 calibre hmr for geese and swans for Airport. today there was a 15 knot wind, I aimed a little to the right to compensate for wind, I wound up hitting the ground like a half foot in front of a swan that was 100 yards away, flew off and litterally scared the shit out of it. saw it through the scope.

last year I got so used to that gun, it is scoped for 100 yards. there was 10 knots of wind, geese were 200 yards away, I aimed through the scope, maybe 1/2 inch to the right and 1/2 inch above the goose, I killed it! was a long walk.

nothing like my Brother though, one time he shot a caribou I swear it was over 400 yards away and walking fast, he killed it in one shot.

Snow buntings are pretty cool little birds. Pretty sure we have them here, too.

I think I told you guys that I'm the only guy in Michigan that doesn't hunt, but I used to fish a lot as a kid with family and grandparents and all that. Lake trout and pike were the good eating fish.

I have been hunting since I was a tyke. got my first seal when I was 12, first duck at 11, first caribou at 13. Inuit tradition, your first animal kill you give it all away to Elders and Families who can't hunt. Inuit believe all harvesting must be shared.

last year I harvested alone 128 migratory birds. I gave away 120 of them away, kept 8 for Family members.

Last night's truck was 2,280 -- kind of big. But I'm missing tonight's 2,660-piece truck. I'm kinda glad about that. If they had calloffs they're in trouble.

The biggest boat I ever caught fish on was a 12-ft. aluminum one with an outboard motor.

We were definitely small town fishermen, just floating around, and trolling, in Lake Michigan to have some fun. :)
