  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I tried a direct connect to the cable....it did nothing.....I went into the connection process/screen and saw where isp info was to be filled in....which I don't currently readily have available.

    Not that supper concerned regarding getting my laptop to see the internet......it is not as necessary as it was when I got it as now 1) wife has her pc that I can use for financial matters if/when my PC goes down, and 2) my smart phone can do most of what I needed the laptop for when I travel (if I ever do again) which is primarily the purpose for purchasing the laptop.

    The laptop is my travel PC.....since I have not been able to travel in the past 1.5 years, there has been no need for it...I new there was an internet access issue as I like to run it at least every 6 months to get all the various updates done....and could not do that since I uninstalled an AT&T air card system......about 1.5 years ago....before that, it worked just fine.
