And I would argue that Russian vodka is the best! But I have never had polish, so I can't directly compare the two :biglaugh:

I would say that even if it is horribly ugly, winning with the big dollar guys not playing a minute is a pretty major victory

True. And it raises the question of how Amare and Melo are going to adjust with Lin running the point. For Amare, it will be great because he finally has an effective pick and roll partner but Melo is a pure isolation player who needs the ball. Plus, the league is catching up to Lin a little bit. Minnesota forced him left as much as they could. But, it is a lot of fun right now!

 

Yup, Amare benefits the most from having an effective PG because he doesn't create his own shots very well. He has been settling for mid-range jumpers this year, in part because the PG play hasn't effectively moved the defense. Melo on the other hand is a black hole. If the coach wants there to be any chance of actually running a play, then Lin shouldn't pass the ball to Melo

 

lol, Melo should take his sweet time getting healthy. In fact, Melo had better realize that his life could potentially become a lot easier. He will get easier buckets as a result if he plays within the system. If not, Chandler better smack him.

 

It seems that there are now two completely different offensive options. a) throw it to the black hole that is Melo, who will chuck all day all night; b) run actual plays for Amare and Chandler with a kick out to Landry or Melo

 

We are going to see both. Lin can't play all 48 minutes. I hope D'Antoni continues to play Steve Novak. He had a big three tonight and can continue to be really useful in the Jeremy Lin oriented offense as a stretch shooter.
