Thanks. It was a little nervy. But when the Giants got the ball back with about four minutes to go, we were all confident that history was about to repeat itself.

Not in NYC. The University of Massachusetts-Amherst had some arrests due to upset Pats fans.

When you say upset, you mean they were crying, right?

 

I might just sit back and watch the fun.

 

He's leaving us. Those were parting shots you could say.

 

I'm sure there were some crying, others really pissed and drunk, those with a brain may realize that Giants WR Victor Cruz went to UMass so they may have been really happy that one of their alum won the Super Bowl.

 

Damn. Oh well.

 

We were talking earlier about how great Victor Cruz has been this year - breakout. He is under contract for next year, ya?

 

He is, at a very low number. So you can expect to hear about an extension with a very large raise. A lot of Giant fans knew about Cruz a year ago. He had an amazing preseason game against the Jets in 2010. But he got hurt and went on injured reserve so the Giants were able to keep him for a year so he could work on his skills.

 

I was lucky and picked him up in my fantasy football team. He had an awesome season. The Giants look good if they can retain key pieces, such as the lines, etc.

 

Such is life.

 

I think I am going to try and focus on some work until bedtime. You gents have yourselves wonderful nights. Hopefully, I will catch you tomorrow!

 

There are going to be some changes. Mario Manningham is a free agent and he may have just made himself a lot of money based off of last night's performance. Not sure the Giants can afford him. DE Osi Umenyiora and RB Brandon Jacobs have both been disgruntled and could be out the door. The offensive line is getting older and RT Kareem McKenzie is a free agent. But the core is very strong. Should be a very interesting offseason.
