Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     I have reviewed all my fonts (well into the thousands) and this is the closest I could find. While it may not be the exact font used in the sig, it is very close and maybe that will be of use to Merlin....

    Unfortunately, I did not save that sig in a construction format....only jpg, so I cannot dissect it to read the font name.

    that it is.. merlin, do a search for "olde english fonts" on google and there are 30 or so of this type, some closer than others, none exactly right though.. but it is some sort of olde english/gothic font thus far I have come to realize

    I found about three fonts that are very similar........posted the first I found. Again, the font in the sig appears to be 10 to 15% stretched horizontally.....and the kerning may have been adjusted to add space between the letters.
