  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    imagedupeless always worked for me, you get to set all the search parameters yourself. I used to use 1% variance and it would give me all the total dupes + all the same pics having the sam md5 hash mark but resized, then I could choose what to do with all of them. IMO, very handy

    One problem I remember was screen caps. Back when, i had a tv card in a system that I used to upscale dvds play @ 1024x XXX. I capped Alyssa Milano in Embrace of the Vampire on auto cap of 10 caps per second or something. I remember it was like 12,000+ caps just from the scenes I did. Imagedupeless would totally choke until I manually disregarded those folders from the search. BTW, I posted those in alt.binaries.pictures.celebrities.female probably 15 years ago and I still see them on sites today, lol.

    I was using a search from 100% to 75% and i can say it removed almost every duplicate....i did a little handpicking below 80% but i was doing the job!
