  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I've been having intermittent no-start problems with my car for over a month. I got a new battery at one repair shop but they didn't find the real problem. I took it to a different, reputable shop this morning. I don't have to work tonight, but I didn't think it would take this long.

    the fuel gage in my car have gone nuts, after 200km the gage drops to empty, and after another 50 it goes up to 1/4 tank, then stays there until I fill it up again.

    They found a power-draw on the battery, but still can't locate it. It's not one of the "usual suspects" one might think of.

    Hate when that happens, it's gonna take a while to find it.

    I remember on one car I had, it was the clock that used too much power when the fuse was there, when I replaced the fuse with a switch it works just fine.. stupid really.

    I had a vehicle with a dead fuel gauge....I just filled it up every 200 miles for years until I got around to fixing it.....:|

    That kind of thing can be time consuming and tedious on an older car.....the newer ones usually can determine the power draw component with the diagnostic computer.....

    The only problem I am having is that half the time after posting, it returns me to the thread about 3 pages back.....not fun, but I can live with that given the way it has been.....

    I just have to answer the question if I really want to leave the page with abort, then do an update on every post to avoid making double posts... and then sometimes I have to update the page again to actually see the post.
