    I got out of the wood working business about ten years ago......did not have sufficient room for both a wood working shop and a mechanical shop......wanted mechanical more, so I sold all of my wood working equipment, except for the small hand tools.

    go to keep the small tools, just in case one needs something done.. it's too expensive to hire someone to do everything for you if you have the means to do it yourself.

    I am used to doing most everything myself......did not grow up with much money, so sometimes, if we could not fix it, it stayed broken or we did without. I have rebuilt V-8 engines, replaced clutches, built cabins and house additions, re-roofed, wired, plumbed, etc. Now, the only limitation is my age and physical capabilities.....can't do what I used to do, so I have to hire out those jobs.....getting old sucks!     hey good morning Friends.

    my Grandmother is not feeling too well. she is 95 years old now. I just paid for 2 plane tickets for my GF and I to go see her, my Mom and the rest of my Family in my Grandmothers Hometown. 2 plane rides away and have to overnight at my hometown. going to leave here on the 28th back on Jan 6th.
