  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    As cold as it's been here this early in the year I wouldn't doubt us getting more snow than normal this year.

    We usually get 2-3 actual snows with 2-5 inches then a few more dustings that'll melt as fast as they come down. Never really a big issue. Since we dont get that much, when we do get the others it pretty much shuts the town down until it melts.

    We've only got that much once in my life, we got 13 overnight then like 18 I think total. It was a HUGE mess, took over a week to be able to get around anywhere. We're just not equiped for that, don't have the machines to clear the roads etc... We've got a military training facility not to far from here, ended having to call them to clear the main roads just so people could get to the hospital if they needed to. Other than that everybody just stayed home till it cleared.

    My tires are too slick, don't have any winter tires. It happens so rare there's no need to buy them. Some people buy chains that work pretty good though.

    Over here they are quite fast in removing snow from the roads. When it snows at night then at 6 am the biggest roads are already clean

    That's the way it is up north over here in the US too. Like I mentioned, since it don't happen very often they don't spend the money on the equipment.
