Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I could easily see something similar to the satellite TV we have now. Charge you for your preferences and an additional charge for searches outside your preferences. Similar to On Demand. The technology is already inplace, it's just a matter of pricing and implimentation.

    Ew. No, just no. The thought of that just disgusts me.

    Well, I go for high-quality downloads, not whimpy 192kb/s from iTunes...hehe. But yeah, there is definitely something about a physical CD. If it's a band I REALLY like, I'll buy their CD...I own maybe 25 CDs...but have like 30,000 songs in my library. Yes, I listen to 90% of them.

    The same was said for Movies, JD. Then along came Netflix. What's up with that? Blockbuster tried the big red box, not, retail movie purchases have suffered. If they can do movies why not entire albums?

    If i buy a song from internet and i want whole album i also can go to the store and buy it for about same amount. Plus on some cd's there are hidden tracks that you don't find in iTunes

    I think I have slightly more than that. I've purchased CDs to replace all my cassettes and most of my Vinyl also. I've got close to 2500 cds.

    One example is Korn's Freak on a Leash. If you play it on a CD it doesn't start until track 13. You can't get that on DL's.

    ...Because I don't want to sit in front of my computer/TV to listen to music...?

    I don't use iTunes...I use...less, uh, legal...methods. And the ones I use include all bonus tracks, because 99% of the time, it's an exact rip of the CD/vinyl.

    The one draw back to non-physical media: you don't get the special boxes/cases/covers/etc. A price I'm willing to pay. I'm a broke college student and cant afford to purchase lots of music :'(
