Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     Thanks guys!

    Bama - just a lot of "sanitizing," which basically means that we have to eliminate any traces of the birth parents from medical documents that are given to the adoptive family (last names, addresses, phone numbers, contacts, etc). It's extremely tedious.

    We still keep it.

    This is the process: Use corrective tape (which is easily removed) to cover the information. Make a copy for the adoptive family so it looks blacked out on the copy. I remove the tape and we keep the originals.

    These stacks of medical records are RIDICULOUS! For the baby and the birth mother, so the adoptive family can see any complications during delivery.

    And lol - I know all about medical records...believe me. All the stuff in them is gov't mandated, that should make you understand why so much info is in them.

    But it's necessary, not all women go through regular checkups so the doc's don't know all the patient's history. If something turns wrong with the child they can go back and research because of the charting the nurses do during the delivery process. Especially medicaid patients, hospital get paid very little so they do the minimal tests on the mother they can get by with.
