    I believe she is half Husky and half wolf........she is a great dog. My son took her away from a man that beat her as a puppy. That was when she was about 6 months old and he keep her for about three years. When he moved to New York City in December, he gave her to us. She get very defensive when I am attempting to train her and she is aware I am not happy with her. Therefore, all training must be with positive reinforcement. You cannot fuss at her as she associates that with getting hit or kicked. I am very patient and don't mind the challenge as I understand why she is this way. She is very loving and a great watch dog. She has become the light of our current lives..:D

    Here a pic of my Parents dog. They got her as she was very young.
    They don`t know exactly how old she is, but yesterday was her 11 birthday with them. They got her from a animal shelter. Some stupid people just had left her in the woods ! :(

    :lol:....I bet! Amelie won't let any squirrels yard. We have no rabbits here in the City, but I am sure she would chase the heck out of them if given the chance.

    I had a red shepard male that loved to chase rabbits.....could do so on open 150 acres the family used to own. He would not hurt them and would even wait for them to rest so they could resume the chase. :lol:
