  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    If I had the name of the model when proposing to post a thread, it's her name I'd use to search, not the site name - which could produce 100's of superfluous results!
    So when a poster makes a perfectly correct post with the complete and correct details, is it fair to penalise him because someone else did get in before him,
    but in the rush to do so didn't have the full information which might have enabled the search system to prevent the "repost" from happening?
    And to compound the problem, if the "original" post is permitted to remain in it's incompletely-titled state, further "reposts" are invited!

    So I've decided in this instance in favour of the "reposter", but in view of the contentious issues this raises I'm flagging the matter up in the Mod forum to see how my colleagues feel?

    Don't take this as a precedent yet, fellas, we'll talk the issue over in the Mod forum.
