  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Don't let the tail wag the dog. The rules are meant to improve user's experience. A user is directly asking for more posts of this girl. I used the method that most directly gave what he was asking. I had pm exchange with S-type on how to do this previously.

    And that's very commendable... but fact remains that this is technically cross-posting:

    The main emphasis is "at a mods discretion". Since a mod has looked at it already and taken no action, you're in the clear. If it becomes a regular occurrence, then it's safe to assume some type of action will be taken to remedy any abuse of this rule.

    I'm not reviewing and re-interpreting what's happened here, since Tai is satisfied, but I will comment on rowemike24's quoting our PM exchange - which ironically was prompted on that occasion by his cross-posting! I thought we'd agreed that when an in-thread request could be answered/helped by an earlier thread/post of his, he should mention the thread/post and provide a link to it! If someone is unhappy with that, please let me know.
