Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     "Correct title"? Searching merely for Addie Moore brings it up anyway, and a simple visual inspection tells you all you need to know! That in addition they added "Just 19" to the title in 2008 is irrelevant!

    Yes indeed, it is a problem.

    Perhaps this case wasn't the best example.

    Suppose I have a set and I know the model name, the site name, and the set name.

    I do my first search for model name and set name. Nothing found.

    So being the ultra-cautious dude I am, I do a search for just the model name and get 98 hits, or the model name and the site name and get 38 hits.

    Do you seriously expect me to visually inspect all 98 (or 38 ) of those to see if my set has been previously posted under a different name??

    I'm not complaining that you removed my post. Turns out it was a dupe. I'm pointing out that it's unfair to also award 3 penalty points in a case where the fault was primarily due to the fact that a set has had its name changed (if indeed that's what happened, for all I know the OP got the title wrong).

    You can't win, wetwetwet! The more search hits you get, the more possibilities there are that you're risking a repost if you ignore them, so if you choose not to perform the "due diligence" checks, you have to accept the consequences of an occasional repost!

    And don't get so hung up on this one instance - you were unlucky, but the points expire in a fortnight!

    Leave it there, and just move on!
