Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     I know exactly what you mean, because I've encountered the same problem with downloading as you mentioned before. Another thing is that when some people post adds to a thread they don't always request a title edit noting the fact. I try to audit each thread looking for adds - especially when there's a major event like an awards show - and pro-actively modify titles when necessary but I don't catch them all. I'll give it some thought and address the issue soon.

    Really?

    Guy's been a member of this forum for 4 years and has nearly 2,500 posts and he doesn't know the rules.

    1. Has 2 of the mandatory hosts, but has 3 optional hosts. The rules clearly state that the hosts are on a "one-for-one" basis; one optional host per mandatory host.

    2. For 3 of the hosts he used, he left the file in one; for the other 2 he split them up. The rules clearly state that the same split has to be done for all hosts. Either all hosts have to be in one part or all of them have to be in split parts.

    3. The file is only 267mb, there should be no reason for the file to be split. Unnecessary splitting is against the rules.

    And according to this post, he initially didn't even have file specs or any mandatory links.

    Honestly, this post has to be the worst blatant violation of rules that I've ever encountered in my time here. And this is coming from a user who should know a LOT better.

    Actually, the only violation was the additional zippyshare links. Mediafire now enjoys a file splitting waiver [in the rules] because free users can do simultaneous downloads while non-paying users have a 200 Mb limit before splitting is necessary.
